Road Rides

Seasoned Spokes riders generally range from 55 to 80+ years of age but any adult rider is welcome.

Rides are held every Thursday at 9:00 am starting the first Thursday in April and ending the Thursday before Thanksgiving.

Rides are 20 - 25 miles in length and are done at 10.5 - 11.5 miles per hour. There is a ride leader and a sweep with stops to reorganize every 5 to 7 miles, depending on the terrain. All riders are required to maintain their equipment in good working order and carry water and a spare inner tube.

Please note the Club policy on protective headgear:
ALL Riders must wear Snell/ANSI rated helmets. Ride leader will NOT give cue sheets to riders without helmets and that rider will not be considered an official participant of the club ride.
If weather is questionable, as in too hot, cold, wet, etc., call the leader for a go or no-go decision.
